You’ll be a seasoned people manager who knows how to get the most out of individuals, have an exceptional understanding of how to develop a centre of business analysis excellence, and not be shy of hands-on involvement in delivering business analysis expertise to a range of ITS-related activities across the university.

The Practice Lead, Business Analysis is responsible for the operational management and leadership of the Business Analysis practice area. Key responsibilities include managing business analysis, user analysis, and requirements management activities, championing usability and accessibility. The growth and development of the practice as a whole and of each individual within the team is a key focus.

Ko koe tēnei | Who You Are
Tertiary qualification in IT or business management, or equivalent extensive industry experience Minimum 7 years’ experience in an IT or IT-related position, with a deep background in Business Analysis Experience in implementing and improving Business Analysis practices A strong background in building high-performing teams

This is a full-time position. Many of the IT Services teams and business stakeholders are based on our Palmerston North campus, which is the preferred location for this role. Consideration may be given for the right candidate to be based at our Wellington Campus, however regular travel to Palmerston North will be required. Appointment will be commensurate of skills and experience and expected to be within the $130 - $170K range.
