About the Role
As a Senior Principal Recruitment Consultant - Senior Finance, you will be a key player in the Auckland team, responsible for leading the full 360° recruitment lifecycle for senior-level finance professionals. You will manage your portfolio of clients and candidates, building strong relationships and consistently exceeding expectations in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly visible role with significant influence on the success of our business.
The Role Will Involve
- Identifying and attracting top-tier candidates for senior finance roles across various industries.
- Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies, leveraging various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking events, and database searches.
- Managing the full recruitment cycle, from initial consultation with clients to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Developing and presenting compelling proposals and market insights to clients.
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team targets.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members. Recruitment.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Proven track record of success in senior-level finance recruitment, ideally within a consultancy setting.
- Extensive experience in full-cycle recruitment, including business development, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
- Strong understanding of the senior finance landscape in New Zealand.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
