We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 WTR Operator for one of our clients, The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of various machinery including primarily loaders and excavators used for the collection, sorting, and disposal of waste and recyclable materials. This is a hands-on role where attention to safety and quality is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 loaders, and excavators (up to 14t) for waste and recycling operations.
- Collect, sort, and dispose of materials such as wood, steel, hardfill, and green waste.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Clean Class 2 license and WTR (Wheels Tracks and Rollers) certification.
- Proven experience operating loaders and excavators (up to 14t).
- Good understanding of waste and recycling processes is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal history checks.
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Class 5 license.
- Experience operating larger excavators (over 14t).
