Our Wellington based client is seeking experienced professionals for a temporary position in Porirua, Wellington, starting ASAP. This role offers exciting challenges and may include night shifts, so flexibility is key!
As a Steel Rigger, you'll be a vital part of a team working on critical infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Rigging and installing structural steel components.
Ensuring all lifting operations comply with safety protocols.
Collaborating with site teams to meet project deadlines.
Performing tasks safely and efficiently, including potential night shifts.
We're looking for someone with:
Proven experience in steel rigging.
Relevant certifications are advantageous (e.g., Dogman or Rigging tickets).
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including night shifts if required.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
