Adecco Recruitment, in partnership with our Avondale client, a leading global company, is seeking a talented Commercial Painter for a one-week assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional interior and/or exterior painting services at the client's site. This short-term opportunity is perfect for a skilled painter looking to showcase their expertise while working with a dedicated team to ensure the project is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning to create an optimal foundation for painting.
Apply a variety of paints, stains, varnishes, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Follow work orders or blueprints closely to ensure project specifications are met.
Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired results.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Perform touch-ups and refinishing tasks as needed during the assignment.
Communicate effectively with the supervisor and team, providing regular updates and resolving any issues that arise.
Complete all tasks and deliver the project within the designated one-week timeframe.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial painter or in a similar role.
Proficiency with various painting tools, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Comfortable working at heights, including using ladders or scaffolding.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Previous commercial painting experience is highly preferred.
Ability to adhere to safety protocols and client-specific requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry painting materials and equipment.
Comfortable standing, kneeling, and working at heights for extended periods.
Willingness to work in outdoor conditions or confined spaces, as required by the project.
