The role | Te tūranga:

This team is responsible for developing exciting and marketable new products and propositions that encourage better environmental and social outcomes for our business and corporate customers and build ASB's business and reputation.

As Senior Product Manager you are the key point of contact for monitoring and supporting the development and delivery of business lending products and experiences that customers will love.

Key areas of focus for the role are as follows:

  • Be the point of contact for your products, taking ownership over the lifecycle and maximising value to both ASB and the customer.
  • Build and maintain excellent cross-functional stakeholder relationships
  • Provide recommendations and innovative solutions based on customer insights
  • Apply your understanding of internal context and external drivers to support and guide product strategy
  • Manage delivery across multiple teams, both small and large initiatives


This is a secondment position through to December 2025, based at ASB's North Wharf office.

  • Exceptional ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and customer focus to drive unbeatable outcomes for ASB, our partners and our customers is essential.
  • A good understanding of finservices/banking/investment industries
  • Proven experience in product or project management with channel distribution knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of New Zealand's regulatory and legislative environment for financial services
  • Experience or interest in sustainable product development
