As we prepare for further growth and global reach, we’re looking for a superstar Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a critical hire for our business, and we’re seeking someone with the skills and experience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
We’re a small, fully remote, agile team, with staff across 5 countries. We have big ambitions of taking our products further, and with current manufacturing in New Zealand and Australia this role requires someone who isn’t afraid to “roll up their sleeves” and get things done. You’ll need solid expertise in managing complex schedules, coordinating multiple moving parts, and navigating the challenges of rapid growth as well as working with multiple time zones. You won’t just be making a difference to us, you’ll be part of making a real difference in people’s lives everyday.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Management
- Further develop and implement supply chain strategies to align with business goals.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage multiple warehouses in multiple countries.
Supplier Management
- Work with the founders to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost control.
- Work with the founders to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and service levels.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and address issues to maintain high standards.
Production, Inventory & Demand Planning
- Manager production planning ensuring our various manufacturers have space booked, and complete manufacturing on time.
- Manage inventory levels to optimise stock turnover and meet customer demand without overstocking.
- Use data-driven forecasting to plan inventory needs and ensure supply aligns with growth plans.
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons as part of the demand planning function.
- Monitor and manage lead times to avoid disruptions in supply especially as we navigate double-digit monthly growth.
- Understand local down times in each country to plan in advance for disruptions.
Logistics & Distribution
- Co-ordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Streamline distribution processes to minimise delays and costs.
- Work with the founder to ensure 3PL services are timely and cost effective.
- Implement systems to track shipments and resolve any transportation issues promptly.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor supply chain metrics (e.g., cost, efficiency, lead times) and report on performance to senior management.
- Lead the preparation of all supply chain presentations and analytical KPI reporting, including monthly management reports.
- Conduct weekly evaluations of potential short-term stock-out risks.
- Prepare monthly medium-range (6–12 months) production forecasts and MRP cash flow analyses.
- Use analytics to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Other Skills and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of, and passion for environmentally sustainable supply change practices, such as reducing carbon footprints and waste minimisation.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, marketing and customer service teams.
- Monthly stock reporting and variance analysis.
- Contribute to the development of short- and long-term company-wide supply chain and operational objectives, overseeing the implementation of relevant business plans.
- Compliance with all company policies, industry regulations and safety standards
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build strong supplier and team relationships.
- Proficient in supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems) and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle complex operations.
- Experience working with diverse teams and suppliers from different countries.
- Knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements for health product logistics

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration is an advantage, or the relevant experience in a hands on role.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role, ideally in an FMCG or pharmaceutical company.
- Demand Planning experience preferred
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is an advantage.
