He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Join our team at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin, as Kitchen Assistants. This is a Casual position and the hours of work are on "as and when" required basis. You will be responsible for delivering a quality catering service to our customers, ensuring all tasks are performed with due regard for Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.
  • Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Handle waste and linen, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively in the workplace, following routine instructions and relaying information as needed.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, and perform other duties within your capabilities as required by the Supervisor or Manager.

  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a catering environment.
  • Flexible approach and attitude, with good communication skills.
  • Hardworking, physically fit, and reliable.
  • Able to pass police clearance.
