ISG has responsibility for the efficient and effective delivery of NZP Overseas Assistance Programmes including engagement with other international law enforcement agencies, capacity building and police development programmes, peace-keeping missions, and rescue operations.
Senior Project Officer
ISG is looking for a dynamic and professional member to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a unique part of the organisation which manages NZP’s contribution to international security and development operations.
This Senior Project Officer role is to support the Team leader and management of the programme by coordinating day to day activity for capacity-building advisors deploying, monitoring and evaluation of programme outputs, strategic guidance, policy development and internal and external reporting requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of New Zealand Police’s role in the International Policing environment.
- Demonstrate experience and strong skills in strategic planning, policy development, logistical coordination, and official correspondence.
- Demonstrate experience and knowledge in the implementation and monitoring & evaluation of programmes, with a focus on results-based reporting.
- Demonstrate experience and ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $102,808 and $108,894 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
