Are you a skilled Mechanic looking for a rewarding opportunity to join and lead a large team with a great work atmosphere? We seek a talented and experienced individual to join our team in Christchurch!

You are to provide operational and leadership support to the Workshop Manager to ensure the motorhome fleet’s mechanical servicing, appearance and functionality is constantly legally compliant and prepared to a very high standard. Providing customers with an excellent, safe, and unforgettable experience within agreed resource and budget constraints.

Location: Christchurch
Position: Full-Time | 7-Day Roster | 10-Hour Shifts

What we offer:

  • Competitive Pay: $36.77 per hour + $0.66 per hour tool allowance
  • Overtime Opportunities: Overtime time allowances
  • Shift Pattern: 7-day roster with a mixture of day and afternoon shifts

Requirements:

  • NZQA Level 4 Mechanical Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a workshop environment
  • Full current driving licence (including manual vehicles)
  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive systems (vehicle layout, function and parts)
  • Knowledge of mechanical issues, warranties, service and general repairs
  • Technically and diagnostically competent with the ability to coach, train and develop others
  • Ability to work effectively in a large team
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
