THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Chartered Accountant to join our Business Advisory Services team as a Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager. In this role, you will lead and coach junior staff members, ensuring their professional development and success. Your high emotional intelligence (EQ) and exceptional coaching skills will be key in fostering a supportive and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career progression.
  • Deliver high-quality business advisory services to clients, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Be a team player, collaborating with team members to develop innovative solutions and strategies for clients.
  • Manage client relationships, delivering an exceptional client experience and developing long-term partnerships.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and processes.

Your experience to date will include:

  • Proven experience in a senior accountant or assistant manager role within a Big 4 or mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm, CA or equivalently qualified.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of business advisory services.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage deadlines.
  • Exceptional client relationship management, ideally as the key client contact
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or reviewing the work of junior team members is an advantage.
  • A desire to get involved in advisory projects, with ambitions for future leadership opportunities.
