Tranzit is a NZ family-owned transport and tourism company providing a variety of transport services across the Wellington region.

We are looking for a School Bus/Charter driver to join our Wellington team in supporting our community with this integral role. We have part time ppostions based out of our Upper and Lower Hutt depots and our Grenada depot. The role will consist of a mixture of school bus driving and charter work across the Wellington region.

About the role:

  • Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per fortnight during school term and minimum 20 hours guaranteed per fortnight during school holidays,
  • Based out of our Grenada Depot,
  • School bus and Charter driving services,


We are looking for:

  • A positive attitude, excellent communicator and enjoys talking to people!
  • A safe and confident driver with a clean record
  • Class 2 licence - Class 4 is a preferred!
  • A P Endorsement is preferred, but we can assist you to obtain this
  • Ability to pass a medical and police check
