Job Description

Working on Permanent Part or Full time night shifts at one of our sites in Central Auckland, Red Badge Group are looking for highly motivated & well-presented individuals who can bring their outstanding customer service & security skills to our team!

About Us:

Red Badge Group is New Zealand’s leading independent provider of security and crowd management services across Key Facilities.

About the Role:

  • Maintaining the safety and security of the site.
  • Locking/unlocking as needed
  • Monitoring CCTV systems
  • Using specialist technology to assist with reporting.
  • Create a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor entrances & exits, and high-risk areas
  • Provide clear and concise daily reports detailing any incidents, observations, or actions taken during the shift.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times


About you:

  • Prior experience in a security or a related field is preferred, but not required. We offer training for qualified candidates
  • Valid Green COA Security License is desirable; however Red Badge can support you in obtaining one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals in a positive and professional manner
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick decisions when needed
  • Able to take directives from Managers & clients; and work well in team environments
  • Possess a strong, professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility.
  • Must be reliable, confident & honest at all times
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including at least 1 weekend day.
