Workshop Assistant We are currently recruiting a workshop assistant for a small family-owned manufacturing company, who are based in the Selwyn district. This is an exciting opportunity which will start in 2025.
This is a varied role that could involve the following:
Using workshop plant such as polishers and grinders.
Assembly work on kilns
Operating a furnace
Making clay bricks
General housekeeping and labouring
Requirements for this role:
Ideally you will have experience with insulation, brickwork, and/or furnace operating.
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous.
Physical stamina and ability to work in hot conditions when required.
Available for an immediate start
Reliable transport
Clean criminal record
