At Fibre Reinforced Plastics, we are a 100% New Zealand owned and operated company and are the leading manufacturer of fibreglass products.

We require a motivated and enthusiastic Composite / Fibreglass Mould Maker to join our team, based in Henderson, Auckland.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Cutting and measuring fibreglass materials according to specifications
• Mixing resins and catalysts in the correct proportions
• Applying resin-soaked fibreglass or cloths onto mould surfaces
• Using rollers and brushes to consolidate the fibreglass and resin ensuring there are no voids or air bubbles

To be considered for this position, you will need to have at least 3 years' experience in the composite industry.

The successful candidate will also have the following skills:

• Good with your hands and using tools
• Excellent time keeping and work ethics
• A reliable work ethic
• A great attitude and the ability to work in a team
• Commitment to following all Health and Safety policies and rules
• Problem solving mindset with a proactive approach
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Some heavy lifting is required in this role, therefore you must be physically fit.
