About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Hamilton team. In this role, you’ll oversee small project work within our Ministry of Education contract.

You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder objectives, while managing the full project lifecycle and overseeing contract compliance under the Facilities Management (FM) Subcontract agreement. This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing multiple projects efficiently and driving collaboration among stakeholders.

Leveraging your strong background in project management, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review project scope, conduct analysis, and prepare Change Notices in line with the FM Subcontract Agreement.
  • Plan and schedule work according to the specific needs of each assigned project.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of consultants engaged in projects as needed.
  • Contribute to stakeholder reports and project updates as required.
  • Ensure the project works are completed within technical and quality standards.
  • Ensure projects are closed and and documentation completed.


About You

To excel in this role, you will have proven experience in project coordination ideally in a facilities or infrastructure environment. You will also be proficient in regulatory compliance, data analysis, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Experience in Education sector is desirable, however not essential.
  • Strong expertise in delivery of small project management services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of statutory requirements, regulation and national standards associated with planning, approval and development of infrastructure schemes, systems and processes.
  • Possesses well developed contract negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
