You will be based in the Operating Theatres at Mercy Hospital in Epsom. This is a permanent fulltime position, 40 hrs per week, working 8 hr rostered shifts, incl occasional weekends. The earliest start time is 6.30am, and the latest finish time is 10.00pm. Your role is to assist the nursing team with the perioperative care of our patients. Your duties will include preparing equipment incl sterile supplies, transporting patients, restocking and cleaning the Operating Theatres. All surgeries are elective & the specialties at Mercy include: General, Orthopaedic/Spinal, Cardiothoracic, Colorectal, & Head & Neck.

Ngā kōrero mōu | About you:
You have a healthcare qualification - either from NZ or overseas
You have previous experience working within Operating Theatres
You have experience managing sterile stock levels and completing sterile equipment set-ups (preferred)
You're a team player and an excellent communicator
You have a keen eye for detail, you're organised & adaptable
You are a resident or citizen of NZ (we are not offering immigration support for this role)
