About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Permanent Full-time Catering Assistant to work at Blenheim Hospital. Work at least 35 hours per week.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • assisting with basic food preparation
  • cooking and serving of the resident's meals
  • assisting with sandwich preparation
  • baking
  • ensuring all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • general kitchen and cleaning duties


Ideal skills and experience you will have:

If you're our ideal candidate, you will have a high attention to detail, be willing to go the extra mile and take pride and ownership of the role. You will have experience working in a similar environment and have a passion for working with the elderly. You will have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
