  • Holmdene, Balclutha
  • Permanent, Part-time; several positions available.


Make a difference in an older person's daily life, working as a Health Care Assistant. Learn while you earn! Supported to gain qualification.

The Role
You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.

Hours: Permanent, part-time. Please state which position you are interested in your cover letter.

Position 01: Morning Shifts working 6hrs/day, 0700-1330hrs on 4 on 4 off rotation
Position 02: Afternoon Shifts working 5.5hrs/day, 16300-2230hrs on 4 on 4 off rotation

About You
The ideal applicant will:

  • Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
  • Work well in a team
  • Enjoy working alongside older people
  • Be physically fit and strong
  • Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Experience in an aged care environment is preferred
  • Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage.
