The role | Te tūranga:

An opportunity has become available in the Business and Corporate Banking Product & Pricing team. You'll help develop and deliver the Deposits product strategy, contributing to product development initiatives and projects to improve customer experience. You will get to work with a broad range of stakeholders to continually improve the proposition, develop new products/features, and manage risk and remediation.

Key areas of focus for the role are as follows:

  • Be the point of contact for your products, taking ownership over the lifecycle and maximising value to both ASB and the customer.
  • Provide recommendations and innovative solutions based on customer insights
  • Apply your understanding of internal context and external drivers to support and guide product strategy
  • Manage delivery across multiple teams, both small and large initiatives
  • Build and maintain excellent cross-functional stakeholder relationships


This is a secondment position for 12-24 months based at ASB's North Wharf office, and we are open to consideration of a Product Manager or an Assistant Product Manager.



About you | Ō pūkenga:

  • Exceptional ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and customer focus to drive unbeatable outcomes for ASB, our partners and our customers is essential.
  • A good understanding of financial services/banking/investment industries
  • Proven experience in product or project management, with channel distribution knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of New Zealand's regulatory and legislative environment for financial services
