Senior Health & Safety Advisor – Exciting New Opportunity!

We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join a dynamic team working with a range of clients across different industries. If you have a passion for workplace safety, strong auditing experience, and a keen eye for risk assessment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
About the Role:
As a Senior H&S Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to businesses of all sizes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting property risk assessments and hazard identification inspections
- Performing 45001 audits of client H&S management systems
- Carrying out site safety audits on construction projects
- Assisting clients in developing and improving their H&S systems
- Reviewing Permit to Work documents for high-risk jobs
- Delivering H&S workshops and presentations to client teams
What We’re Looking For:
- To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A NZQA-approved H&S Diploma
- Strong knowledge of NZ H&S legislation and Safe Systems of Work
- Auditing experience
- Industry experience in property or construction (preferred)
- Confidence in presenting to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong IT skills and the ability to use various digital platforms

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality advice
- Highly organised with great time management
- Open to continuous learning and further training
- Willing to travel across New Zealand as required
