We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced DiagnosticTechnician to join our workshop team at Duncan & Ebbett in Hamilton. Due to the team's expansion this is a fantastic opportunity to join prestigious, forward-thinking brands.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills and be franchise trained, ideally with a European brand. A WOF certification (or willingness to become an Inspector) or EV experience would be an advantage but not essential.
We will work with you to achieve your professional goals in the automotive industry. Hours are 8.00 - 4.30 with a rostered Saturday (approx. 1 a month). However, we have understanding around family commitments and offer some flexibility if required.
You will also need:
A positive and can-do attitude
Professional verbal & written communication skills
Be mechanically competent and be able to refer to technical references
A recognised automotive technical qualification
Knowledge of technical diagnosis and repair of electrical systems
Current NZ Full Drivers licence
Ability to work as part of a team, unsupervised and be able to lead by example
Excellent accuracy & attention to detail even under time constraints
Be willing to always be learning and improving
