The Opportunity: Belmont quarry accounts for 40% of Wellingtons aggregate market and is at the centre of our drive to become more sustainable and reduce emissions with our fully electric E-Dumper trial. As the Quarry Manager, you'll lead a small team, overseeing short-term and long-term priorities, collaborating with experts in various fields to drive positive operational impacts. You will have a drive for excellence while ensuring the safety of our team is always top priority.
Qualifications and Skills: We're searching for a leader with exceptional communication skills and relevant work experience, including:
Strong teamwork and leadership abilities, including a strong commitment to safety
Expertise in quarrying operations with a focus on continuous improvement
Familiarity with quality control techniques in line with our Quality Assurance plans
Effective decision-making skills to maintain high work standards through your team
