About the Role:

84 Recruitment is partnering with Classic Developments to recruit a Regional Manager based in Tauranga. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee the success of large-scale land development projects in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. As Regional Manager, you’ll drive strategic growth, mentor a high-performing team, and ensure the successful delivery of residential and mixed-use developments. Key Accountabilities:

  • Proven leadership experience within the property, land development, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong financial management capabilities, including budget oversight and project funding strategies.
  • Project management knowledge, particularly in land development.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster relationships with councils, stakeholders, and external service providers.
  • A strategic mindset with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes.
  • Understanding of NZ’s regulatory and planning frameworks related to development.


Desirables:

  • Experience in construction contract management (NZS 3910, 3915, or 3916 beneficial).
  • Strong programming and scheduling skills.
  • Background in property valuation, planning, or project feasibility assessments.
  • Passion for fostering a strong safety culture within development projects.
