Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team delivering a new end-to-end Collections and Recoveries Platform, responsible for the development of integration layers between the Vendor's SaaS platform and existing Telephony and SMS capabilities. With flexible start/finish times, this role provides an excellent work-life balance.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Developer, your primary responsibility will be to contribute significantly to the delivery of a new end-to-end Collections and Recoveries Platform. You will develop integration layers between the Vendor's SaaS platform and existing Telephony and SMS capabilities. Your role will also involve supporting end-to-end and UAT activities, resolving defects, deploying code into production, and handing over deliverables to the BAU Support team. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring legislative and policy compliance while promoting a safe culture.

  • Be part of the team delivering a new end-to-end Collections and Recoveries Platform
  • Responsible for the development of integration layers between the Vendor's SaaS platform and existing Telephony and SMS capabilities
  • Support end-to-end and UAT activities, defect resolution, and code deployments
  • Production deployment of code
  • Handover of deliverables and artefacts to the BAU Support team
  • Ensure legislative and policy compliance and assist in promoting a safe culture


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Developer position brings 7+ years of development experience in an agile environment. You have a strong command of Java and Springboot, along with demonstrable experience integrating with and building REST APIs. Your experience extends to integrating with SOAP services, implementing oAuth scoping, authentication/authorisation patterns, and configuring routes/services/proxies on Kong and Apigee as API gateway providers. A leadership mindset in thinking critically about design and development is essential.

  • 7+ years of development experience in an agile environment
  • Strong command of Java and Springboot
  • Demonstrable experience integrating with and building REST APIs
  • Demonstrable experience integrating with SOAP services
  • Experience with oAuth scoping and authentication/authorisation implementation patterns
  • Familiarity with Kong and Apigee as API gateway providers
