ABOUT THE ROLE

• Drive sales growth with customers in Christchurch and throughout the South Island.
• Prospect and connect with decision-makers in food, cosmetic, and beauty manufacturing sectors.
• Prepare tenders deliver professional presentations and provide samples to influence outcomes.
• Leverage your industry networks and attend events to expand connections and opportunities.
• Connect and manage multi-layered relationships with a focus on client satisfaction and service excellent.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that align with client brand specifications.
• Provide exceptional account management and development, demonstrating expertise in branding and print management.
• Work from the central Christchurch office, with regular travel across the South Island.

ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a driven, energetic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance team. To succeed, you will need:

• Proven experience in new business development within print, labels, or packaging manufacturing, or in selling complex product solutions to New Zealand food manufacturers.
• A tenacious, ambitious personality with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• A track record of acquiring new business and achieving sales targets.
• The ability to sell on quality and service, not just price.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to nurture and grow long-term client relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in computer systems, administration, and reporting.
• Availability to travel and attend after-hours networking events.
• A clean, full NZ driver’s license.
• A Christchurch base with strong South Island networks.
