Job Description

Are you a skilled & experienced Hammerhand looking for an exciting opportunity in Hawkes Bay? Look no further! Tradestaff is seeking dedicated and reliable hammerhands to join our trusted clients in upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:
As a hammerhand, you will assist Trades Qualified personnel and use hand and power tools. Generally physical, outdoor work. Your day-today tasks may look like:

  • Maintaining and operating a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment with safety
  • Form-work
  • Lay building foundations
  • Cement-based work
  • Flooring/ Gibbing/ Roofing based work


Requirements:

  • Currently completing your level 4 Certificate in Carpentry / minimum 2 years as a hammerhand
  • Own tools are not necessary, however highly advantageous
  • Minimum restricted license and own transport to and from site is ESSENTIAL.
  • Able to work independently or as a part of a team.
  • Following instruction & clearly communicating to Trades Qualified personnel.
