As a Litigation Support Officer, your role will be pivotal in providing confidential and efficient litigation support. You will manage correspondence related to litigation, update and maintain electronic diaries and databases, prepare legal documentation, liaise with various stakeholders, and provide general administrative support.
What you'll do
- Manage correspondence and documentation related to litigation on behalf of the organisation
- Prepare legal documentation to the required standard
- Liaise with staff in relation to litigation on behalf of the organisation
- Coordinate with Crown Solicitors, other practitioners, Courts and other agencies to support the litigation process
- Provide site support as directed, including administration related tasks
- Compile statistics and information as required
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements to litigation and administrative systems and processes
What you'll bring
The preferred candidate for the position of Litigation Support Officer possesses computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft products. It is desirable to have 1-2 years of administrative experience, although this is not necessary. This opportunity is open to recent graduates as well.
- Intermediate- advanced level of computing and keyboard skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Some experience in high level office administration support activities, but not essential
