What you'll do:
As a Data Modeler, your primary responsibility will be to support the Data Workstream of the Enterprise Business Capability programme. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into robust data structures. Your role involves identifying all component systems and entities for in-scope processes. You will also perform data analysis to validate these models and ensure their integrity. Your proficiency in using data modelling tools and database management systems will be essential for success in this role.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Data Modeler position brings a wealth of experience in various roles such as Data Architect or Database Developer. You have a strong understanding of data modelling principles including conceptual, logical, and physical aspects. Your proficiency in using various data modelling tools like ERwin or PowerDesigner along with your experience in managing both relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra sets you apart from others. Your excellent SQL skills enable you to write complex queries for performance optimization. Additionally, your familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques will be highly valuable in this role.
- Proven experience as a Data Modeler or similar roles such as Data Architect or Database Developer
- Strong understanding of data modelling principles (conceptual, logical, physical)
- Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner) and database management systems
- Experience with both relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
