We are searching for a volunteer who is experienced in developing a strategic communication plan that aligns with the organisation's vision, mission, and objectives. This roles requires a good understanding of public relations, not-for-proit Board communications, media management, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities: Strategic Communications & Planning: > Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to align with the organisation's mission, goals, and values. > Create an annual communication plan, including media, pblic relations, social media, and crisis communication strategies. > Ensure that the communication plan has action plans for consistent messaging across all communication channels and materials. > Ensure the action plans includes regular and audience research to tailor communication strategies effectively.
Key Skills and Compentencies: > Strong strategic thinking and planning skills > Proven experience in developing communication strategies > Excellent communication and collaboration skills > Ability to contribute to a positive and supportive culture
Qualifications & Experience: > Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or relevant work experience
Preferred Qualitfications: > Experience in a non-profit, governmental, or international organisation > Familiarity with regulatory and compliance communication frameworks
