We are seeking a highly skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our Data team under Group Shared Services. In this role, you will perform advanced data modeling on diverse internal and external data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will translate complex business requirements into actionable analytics problem statements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across various business units, fostering data-driven decision-making and enhancing data literacy among leadership.
In addition to building scalable and compelling reporting solutions, you will conduct peer reviews and maintain thorough documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. Collaboration will be essential, as you will work closely with analytics, data engineering, and data governance teams to deliver aligned and impactful analytics solutions. Furthermore, you will provide thought leadership by driving the evolution of analytics practices, supporting the automation and optimization of reporting, and exploring emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance our analytics capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Reporting Analyst or in a comparable role, with a proven ability to deliver actionable insights and compelling data narratives. They should possess advanced proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with strong commercial acumen and a strategic focus on delivering value through data insights. A keen intellectual curiosity and a passion for uncovering trends and patterns in data are essential. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively convey complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Additionally, the candidate should have a broad technical understanding of modern data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and Fivetran, with hands-on proficiency in at least one of these platforms.
