Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement SRE best practices to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
- Provide application support within the financial sector, addressing incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with network teams to manage on-prem and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Utilize observability tools, primarily Elastic Search and Kibana, for monitoring and analysis.
- Engage in routine business-as-usual tasks on Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven Linux administration experience, with a focus on RHEL environments.
- SRE experience with a track record of implementing reliability engineering principles.
- RHEL Engineer certification.
- Experience supporting applications preferrably in the financial sector.
- Strong networking skills, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in observability tools, (preferrably Elastic Search and Kibana).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
