This is a contract role to cover Maternity leave, starting asap the role will go through to about September 2025. With offices in Auckland City Fringe, they work 2 days a week in office and 3 from home. You will need to be in office on Thursday and Friday
A little bit about the role: Coming in as a contractor, you will be working with a small team of designers who are based in overseas offices. You will:
Manage and mentor junior UX/UI team members, guide them on what they need to do and help them with any road blocks
Ensure smooth operation of all design projects
Work end to end on Design (UX/UI) Projects
Be able to work solo where needed, but also collaborate with the wider team, and developers
Who are you and what is your profile:
You will be a Senior Product Designer who has managed and mentored staff
Ideally you will come from a Software/ SaaS background
You will have experience with Project Management/ managing workflow and collaborating with the wider team
Strong with both UX and UI design, able to conduct research, understand and create requirements, through to prototypes
