About the Position
Our client is seeking a Decontamination Cleaner to work hands-on with cleaning contracts across the South Island. The position requires some travel to job locations across the South Island which will involve overnight stays, so candidates must be prepared to work away from home when required.
General hours of work at Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm, but you must be flexible and available to work overtime and weekends when required.
Duties include:
Cleaning/decontamination of residential homes - hands-on, physical work
Completing work in accordance with a prepared scope of work
Following all health and safety compliance as instructed
We're looking for someone with:
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
The ability to work away from home for short periods of time
A positive, can-do working attitude
The ability to take direction from an onsite team leader
Good physical health - must be able to do manual heavy lifting
A full NZ driver's licence - must be able to drive a manual and tow/back a trailer
