THE ROLE
In this role, your primary responsibility is to safely direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around temporary work sites within the Auckland roading network, using methods like signs, cones, and communication to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow. This is a casual role and will be based at our depot in Henderson.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will need to have strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, along with an understanding of road safety regulations and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Other Requirements
Minimum Class 1 Driver’s License required
Traffic Control experience and qualification preferred but not essential
Good understanding of health and safety procedures and practices
Demonstrated good verbal and written skills
Able to work both undirected and within a team environment and have quality workmanship
