About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and passionate cook to bring fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals to our children each day. If you love preparing food for young children, we’d love to hear from you!
As our Centre Cook, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea
- Cater to a variety of dietary needs, ensuring all children are provided with safe and nutritious options
- Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Stay within budget while managing food orders and menu planning
- Promote healthy eating habits and a love for good food!
This is a permanent role (30-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday). We are set to open in March 2025!
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A passion for cooking and baking
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- An understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage food orders within budget
- A commitment to promoting healthy eating habits for young children
