The National Road Policing Centre (NRPC) is an essential part of the road safety sector and is focused on reducing deaths and serious injuries through the delivery of road safety prevention, education and enforcement activities. NRPC provides important services to the Commissioner, Police Executive and Districts in respect of the prevention of serious injury and death on our roads.

The NRPC has a reputation for subject matter expertise and for scientific integrity in relation to road safety. As the Manager Organisational Learning, you will lead a high performing team to identify, develop and implement Organisational Learning (OL) strategy and systems. You will lead the delivery of the resulting products and services to develop the leadership and capability of Police’s workforce.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Leadership of our organisational priorities and strategy.
  • Create and continually develop a high-performance environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and flexibility.
  • Lead the OL team to design and implement learning initiatives to develop skills, knowledge, experience of our workforce.
  • Use experience and knowledge of OL to provide effective advice on methods, techniques and tools on various learning and/or development initiatives.
  • Skilled communication and collaboration with a wide range of internal and external partners including the RNZPC, police districts, other government agencies, and non-government partner agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with other managers and teams across National Road Policing and wider business group to provide a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach to high-quality and innovative work.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence at $140,024.00 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
