About the Role: 

This is a permanent position working 32 -40 hours per week Monday-Friday.   The role is flexible for the right candidate.

You will preferably be an experienced Kaiako who has a real passion for teaching and learning in the under 2-year-olds environment. Our nursery is located in a charming character Villa with a max license of 15 under 2-year-olds. You will be joining an experienced and passionate team who provide an exceptional teaching and learning environment for our Pepi, with a focus on a nurturing and intentional teaching approach.

Role requirements: 

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: 

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ECE centre
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning 
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard 
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
  • Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
