Job Summary/Introduction and Detailed Job Description:
This position provides a balanced workload of 50% driving and 50% labouring, utilising your skills across various aspects of civil operations. As part of a team, you will operate Class 4 or 5 vehicles and equipment, assist with project execution, and ensure high standards of safety and efficiency.
This role demands a strong level of physical fitness and adaptability to contribute effectively to the success of the crew.

Key tasks include:
- Driving/Operating plants and machinery
- Assist the curb and channel crew as directed
- Digging, shovelling, and general earthworks
- Ensuring a safe work environment is maintained
- Hazard identification and reporting
To be successful in the role you will need:
- A valid Class 4 or 5 Licence (required).
- Experience in construction or civil works (preferred).
- High level of physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and dependable attitude with a focus on quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- A clean criminal record and two professional references.
