About the Role As the Finance Officer, you’ll be a critical part of a small but mighty finance team. Working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant, your role will involve end-to-end finance functions—managing accounts payable and receivable, daily bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate cashflow records, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting.
You’ll also be a go-to person for resolving financial queries, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and playing an active role in improving and automating processes.
Key Responsibilities
Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
Accounts payable and receivable processing
Debtor and creditor reconciliations
Month-end balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with reporting and audit preparation
Supporting internal controls and process improvements
Communicating with members, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve queries
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a similar finance or accounting support role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and accounting/banking software
High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritise
Clear and professional communication skills
A proactive, inquisitive mindset and a team-first attitude
