About the role and who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Full-Time Catering Assistant to work at our Defence Site in Woodbourne, Blenheim!
You will be responsible for:
responsible for the food & beverage delivery to the clients
assisting in basic food preparation and presentation
general dining hall duties
provide outstanding customer service
assist with general kitchen and dining hall cleaning duties including washing dishes
operation of cash register
Ideal skills and experience you will have:
If you're our ideal candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one. You will have superior customer service skills but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
