This role is an integral part of the finance team, with a focus on driving growth in business performance and sales channels. The successful candidate will lead a segment of the commercial finance team, providing support to various leadership teams to drive sustainable long-term business growth and profitability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop commercial capex business cases for growth and use commercial insights to identify performance opportunities across the business.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's organisation:

  • Create strategic plans that align with financial and non-financial goals
  • Ensure strategic plans align with Channel Plans
  • Responsible for the strategic planning process
  • Play an active role in steering committees to ensure successful project delivery
  • Review actuals, forecast, budget, risks and opportunities
  • Identify, review, and deliver opportunities
  • Prepare major Capex, NPD, and M&A business case proposals
  • Determine and approve the optimal level of investment including trade spend and Direct Marketing Investment
  • Manage Gross Margin, Market, Channel, Site financial performances
  • Lead the Segment Commercial finance function, coach and mentor direct reports

  • Degree Qualified (Commerce or Finance) Essential
  • CA/CPA/CIMA or equavalent
