Overview
AWF are seeking two reliable and responsible Machine Operators to join our client operating within the timber industry; one laminating line operator and one CNC router operator.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain timber industry machinery, ensuring efficient and safe production
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality and productivity targets are met
- Perform regular quality checks on products to maintain high standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machinery issues
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in similar roles within the timber industry preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues
- Computer literacy
- Time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and initiative to proactively address challenges
- Health and safety conscious with a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
- Open to stepping into leadership position when required
