About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Cartology is seeking an Ad Operations Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Product & Platform, you will play a key role in managing, delivering and growing Cartology’s digital revenue and go-to-market plans.

You will be responsible for the implementation, delivery, optimisation, reporting and fulfillment of all ad-served digital campaigns and will be critical in maximising our clients return on their investment.

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders on the testing and implementation of new ad technologies and will monitor the health and performance of our advertising ecosystem to ensure optimal performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Optimise campaigns including reviewing reports and providing suggestions for improved campaign performance
  • Provide technical support to the Cartology Digital Sales Team as well as the wider WooliesX teams
  • Drive the efficiency improvement of revenue operations: on-time launches, restriction of campaign under-delivery, optimal plans for operational success, accurate client reporting templates
  • You will provide strategic, commercial and innovative input to our internal partners to help shape the product roadmap
  • Support the development of category-specific media solutions that deliver against category and shopper insights
  • You will also provide in-market and sales team support and expertise to ensure the value proposition, packaging and overall Cartology product solution delivers against our business and advertising partners objectives


About You | Mōu
You will have 2 - 5 years experience in digital media/ marketing/ shopper with strong operational orientation and understanding of customer experiences, advertising channels, with a focus on driving business outcomes for clients and agency partners.

Bringing a background and proficiency with ad serving systems such as GAM and knowledge of Tag Management systems you will also be commercially astute, innovative and strategic.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the retail or FMCG landscape
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, 3rd party ad tags, and other forms of digital ad code
  • A strong understanding of digital media commercialisation, yield management and trading
  • Strong sales and/or business experience with proven ability to drive results
  • Successful internal and external relationship management
  • Organised - able to manage multiple work streams at the same time
  • Proactive - be a genuine self starter and proactively seek better ways of doing things
  • Collaborative - able to drive the best results through teams other than your own
  • Creative - you must have an excellent eye (and ear) and know how to get the best out of creative partners. Be comfortable trying new approaches
  • Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures
