About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Specialist to deliver and support infrastructure for industry-leading applications. In this role, you will manage on-site implementation, ensure network resilience, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and overseas to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support infrastructure for mission-critical applications.
- Work within a small team providing support for on-premise applications and infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain a resilient network and server infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution across global teams.
- Maintain status reports and contribute to overall programme planning.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering, operating, and supporting complex IT systems.
- Expert knowledge of network infrastructure, including F5 load balancers (iRules), firewalls (WatchGuard, Palo Alto, StormShield), LAN/WAN, DNS, SMTP, and certificate management.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems (VMware and OpenShift experience is an advantage).
- Experience supporting mission-critical replicated OLTP databases (Oracle & MS SQL Server preferred).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
- Relevant qualifications in networking, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
