Job Description

Geneva Healthcare is currently looking for Support Workers who are energetic, willing to learn, and have a caring, fun, and compassionate nature, to assist clients based in Castlecliff, Whanganui.

This is more than just a job – you will be providing invaluable support.

Clients require assistance with Personal care supervision i.e., assistance with showering and dressing, Meal preparation and Home Help duties.

As a Support Worker you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with personal cares and daily house tasks
  • Have strong communication and commitment to building good working relationships
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Promote independence in the home
  • Mobility assistance


Requirements:

  • Be able to start immediately
  • Be a good communicator, patient, and calm –someone who is genuinely interested in people and can build meaningful relationships
  • Honest, reliable with complete integrity
  • Must have a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license & own transport
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Subject to clean police clearance check


Immediate Shifts to start with:

  • Monday to Sunday 9am to 9.30am & Monday to Sunday 8.30pm to 9pm
  • Monday to Wed 7pm to 8 pm


*Candidate must be flexible to starting slightly earlier or later/longer hours
