Job Description

Overview

We are looking for physically fit and safety-conscious Traffic Management Workers to join our team. As a Traffic Management Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining road safety and efficient traffic flow. This role requires strong communication skills, time management, and a dedication to upholding health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and maintaining traffic management equipment such as cones, signs, and barriers
  • Directing traffic and pedestrians to ensure safe passage through construction zones, special events, or road maintenance sites
  • Communicating effectively with team members and the public to ensure clear understanding of traffic management plans and procedures
  • Understanding and implementing traffic management plans in accordance with industry regulations
  • Maintaining a high level of awareness for potential hazards and taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
  • Operating and maintaining relevant equipment in a safe and efficient manner


What we're looking for

  • Those with a current traffic management qualification (TTM, TMO, STMS)
  • Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to and from work sites
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Time management skills to efficiently carry out assigned tasks
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards at all times
