Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using AutoCAD Inventor.
Collaborate with colleagues in manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Create detailed drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and specifications for production.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
Utilise engineering principles to optimize designs for cost, performance, and quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
NZ Citizenship or NZ Residency
Proven experience in sheet metal design, particularly using AutoCAD Inventor.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal fabrication.
Proficiency in creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
