About the Role

We have a number of roles available within our horticulture and hard surface teams for Spray Technicians. If you love the outdoors and have good attention to detail, then this might be for you. Whether it’s using our spray back packs or driving one of our spray buggies, you will be provided with full training, PPE and ongoing support while you develop your knowledge of herbicides and their application. In addition, we can support you in achieving your Growsafe certificate.

The ideal candidate would have previous weed management experience, however this is not a deal breaker.

Tasks and Responsibilities


• Chemical spraying and application of herbicides.
• Manual weed removal.
• Operating spray equipment and machinery
• Supporting general garden maintenance.
• Various methodologies such as mechanical, manual, and hot water to manage weeds.
• Pest plant control


About You


• A Full New Zealand driver’s license - Manual
• Are committed to delivering consistently high-quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and committed to getting the job done.
• Are conscientious toward keeping everyone updated.
• Reliable and always on time for work.
• Flexibility to work additional hours to complete scheduled work.
