What will I be doing?

In this role, you will travel throughout the Upper North Island from Monday to Friday, visiting scheduled schools while overseeing a team responsible for installing carpet, lighting, insulation, acoustics, and more. It is essential to be a team player and assist the crew in completing each job efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on-site to ensure smooth project execution
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of tradespeople and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring it aligns with timelines and budget
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure the work is of the highest standard
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and schedules
  • Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts efficiently and professionally


What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the trades sector
  • Someone who can be away from home Monday through to Friday.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Reliable, honest and a good team player that enjoys working in a small team.
  • Physically fit, flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Clean Criminal History
  • Full clean NZ driver's license (ability to drive a manual is a bonus!)
